GPLT 320 Business French for Graduate Students - GSA

Students must have advanced French to enter this course. If you have passed the GSA Intermediate level course you may be eligible to participate. A proficiency pretest will be conducted during the first class. The GSA reserves the right to ask any student to leave, on recommendationof the teacher, if they do not meet minimum proficiency requirements.
WINTER 2013 - NO CLASS DURING READING WEEK (FEB 18-23)
B2 - Saturdays 10h00 - 13h00 (begins Sat JAN 26 to APR 6)
B1 -Thursdays 18h00 - 21h00 (begins Thurs JAN 31 to APR 11)
Ce cours est destiné aux étudiants qui poursuivent une formation en administration des affaires, finance, etc. Il a pour but de donner aux étudiants une capacité à parler, entendre et à faire des présentations en français. Il sera ainsi organisé autour des aspects suivants:
• axé sur l’entreprise et son milieu
• travail sur tout type de document d’entreprise (correspondance commerciale, rapports et comptes rendus, courriels internes...)
• une approche interculturelle qui permet de mieux comprendre le monde du travail français au Québec
• pratique de la langue courante en situation de communication avec une approche culturelle de la langue française au Québec
• développement des compétences linguistiques fondamentales (expression écrite et orale/compréhension écrite et orale/communication interpersonnelle)
• méthodes communicatives s'appuyant sur des documents authentiques
