GPSC 407 2013 Concordia 3MT Competion - Coaching Session for Preparing your Presentation
Description
Can you distill your research down to its simplest level? What is the driving motivation behind what you do and why should anyone care?
This coaching session will provide students tips and strategies on how to tackle the task of condensing one’s research to less than three minutes. GradProSkills has asked Yvonne Callaway Smith, a professional communicator from the International Association of Business Communicators to help coach the contestants. Yvonne not only has a way with words, but will draw on theatre skills to get you presenting like the pros. Make sure to take advantage of this opportunity and get a leg up on the competition.
3MT™ is a presentation contest held annually at universities across the world. By particating in the contest, along with the preparatory information and coaching sessions, you can improve your communication and presentation techniques.
