GPSC 434 Conference Proposal Peer Review Groups

INFO SESSION REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN PEER REVIEW GROUPS
Academic conferences provide an excellent opportunity for graduate students to share their research and build your professional research profile.
This peer review group provides you with the opportunity to fine-tune your proposal to submit to a conference.
At this initial information session, students can learn more about how the peer review groups work and decide which group you want to join. After the session you can decide whether you want to join the Peer Review groups.
Note that sign up for the Peer Review groups requires participants to commit to attending both 2 1/2 hour sessions.
1 Jan 30 - Info Session
2.Feb 13 - Feedback on first draft of conference proposal - proposals must be emailed to all participants by Friday, Feb 8 at 6pm. Everyone will offer feedback on each proposal based on agreed rubric.
3.Feb 27 - Feedback on second draft of conference proposals - note proposals must be emailed to all participants by Friday, Feb 22 at 6pm.
For the peer review model to work, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
