GradProSkills Job Opportunities
In keeping with our mandate to support graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in development of a range of graduate and professional skills, GradProSkills includes several job opportunities to provide on-the-job training through paid work experiences on campus. There are several options available:
  1. GradProSkills Team Members 8-month non-renewable contract worth $8000 – Scattered start dates.
    We have FOUR GradProSkills team member positions to be held by graduate students or postdoctoral fellows from each of the four faculties on campus (Arts and Science; Engineering and Computer Science; Fine Arts, and the John Molson School of Business). If you are interested in applying for more than one team member position, please submit a separate application for each.
    1. GradProSkills Team – Grad Reading/Writing Resource Development

    3. GradProSkills Team – Outreach / Resource Development

    4. GradProSkills Team – On-line Resource Development and Production

  2. Website Programmer (All Faculties) – 1 position - 8-month contract worth $8000

  3. Workshop Assistants (All Faculties) - 2 positions - 4-month non-renewable contracts worth $2600 – Each semester
    To assist with all GradProSkills workshops we require two workshop assistants each semester. The next posting for this 4-month position will be in mid-November 2012. To ensure you are included in the current application pool, please note that applications submitted outside the posting timeline will not be considered.

    Contract Start Date: Position 1: August 28, 2012
    Position 2: September 5, 2012
  4. GradProSkills – French Language Group Leaders - 2 positions - 4-month contracts worth $2600 – Each semester
    GradProSkills and Counselling & Development have partnered to offer French language conversation groups each winter and fall semester. The next posting for this 4-month position will be in mid-November 2012. To ensure you are included in the current application pool, please note that applications submitted outside the posting timeline will not be considered.

    Contract Start Date: September 10, 2012
Letter of Approval from Supervisor or Graduate Program Director
As all positions are funded through the School of Graduate Studies, SHOULD YOU BE SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW, we require letter of approvals from your Supervisor or Graduate Program Director (GPD), that indicates you are in good academic standing and that the time requirements of the position will not interfere with your program requirements. To facilitate this request we ask that you provide your supervisor or GPD with an electronic copy of this form and request that they complete and email it to:
